MyFitnessPal review
Calorie and macro tracking with a huge food database
- MyFitnessPal, Inc.
- Free + paid plans
- iPhone & iPad, Android, Web
Does it deserve #9?
The verdict
MyFitnessPal is the calorie counter most people try first, and its food database is the biggest reason to stick with it. You will find almost any branded or restaurant item. But much of that database is user-submitted, so errors creep in, and the free version leans heavily on ads while many useful tools sit behind Premium. It still works for basic calorie counting, with more friction than before.
- Huge food database
- Calorie and macro goals
- Recipe and meal logging
- Syncs with many fitness apps
