Strengths and weaknesses
Structured
- See at a glance whether your day fits
- No ads, and no account needed to start
- Lifetime purchase option instead of a subscription
- Recurring tasks require Pro
- Some features are missing on Android and the web
- Pro prices vary by region and aren't listed upfront
Structured lays out your day as a single timeline, with every task stacked in order, so you can see at a glance whether the plan actually fits. Drag blocks around, park ideas in the inbox, break work into subtasks and run a focus timer. The free version covers daily planning. Pro adds recurring tasks, calendar import and AI planning, and a few features differ between platforms.

Evernote
- Excellent web clipper for saving articles
- Finds text inside images, PDFs and scans
- Mature apps on phone, desktop and web
- Free plan stops at 50 notes and one notebook
- Paid plans cost more than most rivals
- Google Play lists the Android app as containing ads
Evernote is still a capable place to capture everything. The web clipper is excellent, search finds text inside images and PDFs, and notes, tasks and calendar live together. Version 11 added an AI Assistant, semantic search and meeting transcripts, and updates keep coming. The problem is value: the free plan stops at 50 notes, and paid plans cost more than most rivals. Hard to recommend unless you already rely on it.
