Hopper review
Flight and hotel deals with price predictions and freezes
- Hopper
- Free

Does it deserve #8?
The verdict
Hopper tells you whether to book a flight now or wait, using price predictions, and lets you freeze a fare for a fee while you decide. It also sells hotels, rental cars and flexible add-ons like cancel for any reason. The predictions are handy, but the add-ons cost extra and booking through a middleman makes changes harder. Use it to watch prices, then compare before you buy.

Questions about Hopper
Is Hopper free?
Yes, the app is free for searching and watching prices. You pay for bookings, and optional add-ons like Price Freeze and cancel for any reason cost extra.
Are Hopper's price predictions accurate?
They're a useful guide, not a guarantee. Prices can still move unexpectedly, so treat the advice as one input and compare fares elsewhere before you book.
