Strengths and weaknesses
Flighty
- Delay alerts often arrive before airline notices
- Clean, glanceable design with Live Activities
- Easy to share live flight status with family
- Most advanced alerts need a Pro subscription
- Pro is hard to justify if you fly a few times a year
Flighty is the best flight tracker for frequent flyers. It pulls in your flights, shows gate changes and delays in Live Activities, and tracks the inbound plane so you often hear about a delay before the airline announces it. The design is clean and calm, and your lifetime stats make a fun travel log. The best features need Flighty Pro, which is hard to justify if you rarely fly.

Hopper
- Price predictions help you time a booking
- Price Freeze buys time to decide
- Simple, friendly interface for browsing deals
- Paid add-ons quickly raise the real price
- Changes go through Hopper instead of the airline
Hopper tells you whether to book a flight now or wait, using price predictions, and lets you freeze a fare for a fee while you decide. It also sells hotels, rental cars and flexible add-ons like cancel for any reason. The predictions are handy, but the add-ons cost extra and booking through a middleman makes changes harder. Use it to watch prices, then compare before you buy.
