- Chats train models by default unless you opt out
- No desktop app for Mac or Windows
Vibe, formerly Le Chat, is Mistral AI's assistant, relaunched in May 2026 as an agent that can work through longer tasks across your email, calendar and documents. Answers come fast, and it covers web search, deep research, image generation and a Code mode for programming. Being a French company that favors EU providers is a plus if you care where your data goes. Its models still trail the top US labs on hard reasoning.
